Main Article Content
Abstract
TThe Death, the idea or the fear of this event haunts the human being more than anything else; the defense mechanisms connected to it represent the main motivation of the different human activities, often directed to avert the fatality of death, to overcome it, thus denying that it constitutes the ultimate fate of man. Anguish, pain, sadness, anger, fear are some of the emotions present in the case of a loss, which paradoxically represents the possibility of having an idea of death since human beings are denied knowledge of their own. The fear of death is a universal phenomenon, the finitude, the limitation of the human being constitute at the same time, however, the possibility of offering new educational reflections precisely because in the absence of immortality what man can leave as a trace of himself are directions of meaning to foster a more fruitful emancipation of humanity.
