Peace practice and the culture of nonviolence: an intentional choice
Main Article Content
Abstract
While there are ongoing wars, explicit and latent hostilities, continuing education and continuing education in the areas of peace does not awaken to dissent. In the interstices of universities, the path of healing of texts and programs from nationalistic and mystical exaltations of war has not yet begun and the contemporary relational chasm, is not cured by an educational work through which humanity can recognize and renew itself.
In this contribution we will explore the major-minor relationship and the renewal that the practice of equivalence, of intentionality as the ability to choose to postpone the stimulus, can lead human beings to be citizens in a public space of civic action. In an attempt to deconstruct the paradigm of violence that often underlies our communication and our daily activities, we will also explore the activities of the Edumana path realized in the city of Milan.
